He intends to pursue a PhD next, most likely working on moth systematics, and will publish his first species description this year. "Most of us are used to getting our gardening into gear in the Spring, but the Fall is a perfect time to put many plants in the ground! For the vast majority of native plants, you can put them into the ground so long as the soil remains workable. Along with planting, there are so many valuable opportunites to promote a native plant garden, such as seed collection. Our presentation includes helpful tips for planting, preparing garden beds for the winter, and seed collection and sowing techniques. This is your opportunity to pick our brains for all of our Fall native plant knowledge!"
